Google team up with Facebook and Twitter as part of the charity Google. org. The new community Innovative Support to Emergencies, Diseases and Disaster will coordinate the rescue during epidemics or disasters.
The organization is funded by five millionth Fund, which has been subsidizing Google. org in the form of a grant. In addition to information on disasters and diseases, the resource will be posted blogs rescuers and doctors, who can regularly update their location and receive information about the places where their help is most needed.
Given that service Twitter is already used to search for the missing, and, quite successfully, such an initiative can really help save lives.
